About Us

 

​In 1985 Jeffrey N. Thomas founded Weatherguard Roofing Co. (WGR). He sucessfully grew it to one of the largest East Coast roofing companies, employing hundreds of local community residents. At it's peak Thomas merged WGR with a national commerical roofing contractor, Tecta America. 

 

Thomas' daily commute through the Village of Altamont sparked a desire to restore the Victorian Village. Thomas began buying and renovating commerical and multi- family residential properties. Properties and land currently owned by Thomas are located in the Helderberg Hilltowns, Village of Altamont, Town of Guilderland, & City of Schenectady.
